Museum & Gallery
In Museum Falkensee, the permanent
exhibition on nature and wildlife in the Havelland, archeology and city history
is linked to the life story and work of the well-known poet Gertrud Kolmar
(1894-1943).
A gallery for contemporary art, rooms for
special exhibitions and exhibitions from the own collection as well as the
Gertrud-Kolmar-Rosengarten provide a lot of movement and stimulate the exchange
of ideas.
Permanent Exhibition
A collection of birds and butterflies document the
regional wildlife and wildlife.
We give an insight into the era of National Socialism,
tell of the buildup of Falkensee after the Second World War and the life of the
Falkensee in the shadow of the wall. Film documents complete the tour of the
exhibition.
Tracing
Our permanent exhibition is the starting
point for the "Spurensuche DDR". Here we show things, report on
events and introduce personalities - an interactive space in which pupils and
students can go in search of clues.
